We want everyone who visits the Collabra website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

As part of that commitment, we seek to ensure the convenience of the Collabra website is available to all.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Collabra website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Collabra website.

How are we doing?

We’re working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realise there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we’re doing to make that happen.

• 1.2.4: Captions (Live) Automatically-generated captions are currently not available for recorded media.
• 1.4.11: Non-text Contrast Vital components have a sufficient contrast ratio. Subtle components that have no functionality may not.
• 2.2.1: Timing Adjustable Currently, timed-assessments are not allowed to be overridden for specific users. The student must discuss their situation with their instructor and be granted an exception.
